    Cool First Day, 11K...

Hey guys. Both of my arms are totally fried now, but I have managed 11,071 on my first day of pb'ing. Kind of expected it to be easy (being a bodybuilder) but is surprisingly challenging, hoping to crack 12 before long.

Got quite annoyed because I couldn't break 10k this morning, then my brother got up and hit 11k on his second attempt, using a (let's say) unorthodox technique.

BTW I'm 26 and a musician. Kind of hoping that powerballing will help me with my piano playing, bass playing and also my general grip (for bodybuilding).

    Take it easy guys,

    Andy

Good morning Andy, and welcome to the forum.

Certainly 11,071 is a pretty good score for your first day - congratulations, and I'm sure we can expect good things from you in weeks/months to come!

Certainly Powerball should be of great help for each application above Andy - we have a lot of musicians who use Powerball to help prevent/treat carpal tunnel and rsi commonly associated with musicians.

Similarly since you are always exercising your grip-strength, you should find that using Powerball will help a lot with your bodybuilding grip.

You might find these exercise videos to be of some help to you in devising a workout with Powerball.

Good luck with it, and of course post back with any questions!

    Regards

    Enda

Now up to 11,430 which is kind of surprising because my arms are still aching like hell.

I really couldn't agree more here. I still get the occasional aches in my thumb, but my grip strength is at least doubled since starting powerball. It's great for the gym.

I bought some cheap PB in the states to fix sorring tennis elbow.. First time I hit like 10,500 and I was very very very proud of it. I let one of my friends in the tennis club try it and can you believe it, the first ever he pb, he hit like 12,200.. I was kind of shock. I think the secret of PB is not only power but how relax your elbow should be. The guy is a tennis pro so his arm always relax at the elbow but very very strong in the forearm and the wrist.
B/c of it, We have a big contest in December in my tennis club.. Whoever have the lowest score to pay for the dinners for about like 10 guys. This time I have to order 10 NSD PB and at least one metal for myself to practice first..
