    Default Oh My God.

YES! I just recieved my first powerballs.com gyro, (250 Hz orange/amber) and I am ultimately surprised and satisfied. Before I bought this particular gyro, I had bought a different brand, because their price was cheaper (I know, bad mistake on my part.) I got that one a short while ago, and there was already scratching and knocking, straight out of the thin plastic container it was kept in. It didn't come with a snap-off top like I thought it did, apparently you had to buy the next version, which was 5 bucks more. (I'm sure it said on the website it was snap-off, so I was indeed a little pissed.) So, apparently I had wasted 15 bucks on a speed meter. I had also noticed the guarantee wasn't ANYWHERE near as good as the powerballs.com guarantee. I was pretty angry, but I wasn't going to ultimately judge them until I tried out a second brand for comparison purposes. I thought "what the heck, powerballs.com has an extremely wonderful guarantee, and it seems they have wonderful service, I might as well buy one and try it out." After 6 days (and considering I live in another country, that is really nice), I found a small box in a paper mailing envelope in my mailbox. Needless to say, I was pretty excited. First thing I noticed was how wonderfully packaged it was. perfectly padded and secured in place so it didn't slide around at all. The first gyro I got was in a plastic container free sliding around in a large box, which may have actually caused the roughness of it. Back to my 250 Hz gyro: I open up the bag, and pull out a box...no actually some product info, then a box. This was already looking too good to be true, as my other gyro had hardly anything other than the gyro and a starting cord. Then I open the box, and lo and behold, there are TWO starting cords in PERFECT condition, (my first gyro had an already worn-out cord...don't ask me) along with a lovely instructional poster, which not only explained to me better how to use it, but the size of it made it easy to read and understand. Then, underneath all that...sat the powerball wrapped neatly in a plastic slip, cozied in a spherical dip in a cardboard support. It was a lovely shade of orange, might I add. I picked it up, gave it a quick thumb-flick, and I instantly felt a difference between it and my first. It was so amazingly smooth, I didn't even think it was running. Then I saw the snap-off cap, and remembered my speed meter, which I inserted immediately. It seemed to work wonderfully. All that with the extremely generous guarantee? What more could you want? Thank you for an absolutely wonderful product, wonderful service, and wonderful everything. You guys are awesome.

EDIT: I just tried to go really fast with my 250 Hz, and I noticed how much less this one vibrates at high speeds than the first gyro I got. Great product. Worth every extra cent and much more.

Wow, awsome! That sounds just like my experience. I even had a previous cheaper gyro like you; it really make you appreciate the powerball.

I was lucky that my very first Powerball was an NSD, and though I have bought and tried cheap knock-offs, they ended up being binned within ten minutes or receiving them.

    Welcome!
