When you spin the Techno, you'll notice that at something like 5000 rpm a red LED will illuminate. Speed it up some more, to about 7000 rpm, and then a second red LED will illunminate. A bit more speed and they'll start to flash. Allow the Techno to slow down until there is only one red LED lit, and then loosen your grip to stop the spinning rotor from revolving around it's second axis. The score will scroll across the rotor at the opening, where you can touch the rotor.

I find that I tend to need to get at least 8000rpm or something to get the score to display.

Oh, and if the blue LED is flashing, this is the strength mode, where the Powerball will count the number of revs in 30 seconds.

    Hi,
I have followed these instructions but am still having a problem. Have got the score to appear once only (when I realised that I had previously been spinning it backwards)

But what happens is that I get the speed up pretty high and then put the ball down - at the time I do this, there are several red lines illuminated but when I stop, as the ball slows down eventually the blue line lights up and the ball just slowly spins down to a stop and the lines go out one by one. No score displayed.

It DEFINITELY doesn't show the score either on the ball (or the other way through the top of the ball - that happens when its in reverse apparently)

    Help?

To have it display a score you must achieve multiple solid red lines (not blinking lines), then wait for it to slow down. If the blue light turns on it means you haven't achieved multiple solid Red Lines, and instead have activated the endurance mode. When the blue light starts to flash it will continue to do so for 30 seconds before turning solid again, afterwhich it will display your Endurance Score.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks!

so how do you ensure that you ahve got the solid lines instead of the blinking lines? If you are trying to get a speed and are fatiguing then it is difficult to spin it AND check that you are getting the right type of lines.

Basic question is: Howe long after starting do I have to get up to top speed before it decides that I am doing strength and switches the blue line on?

And how fast do I need to be going to get the red lines to be definitely solid? - How high pitch is the whine when this happens?
