My strength builder
what i am going to trial for a week is a 30 minute workout non stop alternating each hand every minute. Has anybody tried this?i think itll be a great strengthener im only 4 mins in at the moment and burning already i will alternate the direction every 5 minutes too.
That's a great idea. When I was fairly new to Powerballing I wanted to see how many revs I cold get in an hour, and my muscles were so incredibly pumped after. And a few minutes later I then broke my speed record too.
I've quite recently managed to maintain an average of over 10000 rpm for half an hour...I don't get the muscle burn like I used to. Reversing the direction would be a good idea too, to work all the muscles.
damn you have some really strong forearm muscles! Hopefully i'll be there someday. I wonder what it feels like when the ball is spinning at 15000rpm, i bet its really hard to grip! I want a metal powerball but i just cant afford one yet and dunno if i should get one 2nd hand...
I wouldn't say I was strong...I've just been using a Powerball a lot over the last couple of years and my muscles have become accustomed to it.

Beg, borrow or steal to get one, they're great!
well ive got about 60 hours of work coming up next week working at the leeds festival so i may be able to pick one up when i get paid... keep my finger crossed! i might have to duct tape it to my hands

Just got more work too ss might be able to get me one of them, problem is, my pc is wrecked, got some terrible hardware problems so gonna need a new PC first and that aint gonna be cheap
When travelling with train the last weekend. I had a nonstop session with a powerball basic 250 Hz on the friday for about 3 hours. On the Sunday i made same time with the metal 350 Hz. Thing is that I use to run the powerballs as complement training and warmup for my grip and armwrestling training. I recall that in the beginning of my complement training I had problems maintain speed at 10k+ for longer periods, now its no prob running so for 30 minutes on each arm with the basic. The metal is still a bit tougher but its no prob to run about 9k constantly for 30 minutes.
The way I use the powerballs , I wish there was a possibility to have a sportwatch that through wireless connection could show the speed and time etc. That would be easier to see the current cruising speed and having extra caclulations as inertial force etc.
The only thing to be noticed except from wear out of the forearms is that the metal powerball gets quite warm. This is because of the heat generated by friction. Both from the palms and from the rotor =) The pinkies gotten callused. Since those longer sessions of high intensity powerballing been done.
