    Hi all,

I have used the search and cannot find this anywhere but i think it would be a good topic to have so all other powerballers can see our tips and tricks!!

E.G.Before every high score run i take off the support band and clean it in soapy water along with my hands... As Some Of You Know It Works Wonders!!!!

Anyway i think we should all try to post something this could turn out to be a very helpful topic indeed

    Best Regards

As I have only just started powerballing my highest score score is in my avatar, only had it around 4 days so not major.

I tend to wet my hands then dry them, then dry the band round my ball.

Then start the ball up with my weaker hand (Left), then switch to my right and give it my all

My main tip is for the relative beginners - i.e those whose high score is under about 13000.

If you really want to increase your scores, but feel you've hit a bit of a wall, try some endurance. Set the Powerball into the 90-second Strength mode and see how much you can score without switching hands at all. Do this with one hand, rest a minute then do it with the other hand, then rest again. Repeat this a few times, rest for a few minutes, then go for some speed.

Alternatively, if the above isn't enough of a "hard" session for you, set the counter onto the first setting, (total RPM/100 mode), and keep the Powerball spinning for anything from 20 minutes to an hour...try to maintain an average of at least 9000 to 10000 rpm. Afterwards, rest for several minutes and then try some speed.

    Hi,

I would also suggest keeping the ball spining very slowly, instead of a complete rest, so as to maintain the muscles warmed.

Try to achieve records not before 4 hours after a meal...

Yes it does. If you have a loose band, it seems to help it if you soak it in hot water for several minutes cause it shrinks the rubber.

I think you meant if you soak it in COLD water it will cause the rubber to shrink. Hot water will cause it to expand and become even more loose. Just washing your hands and the band with cold soapy water helps a lot.

One thing I want to know... When you reach high speeds, you rotate your wrist or you keep your wrist straight and rotate your arm? Or however?

    Thank you!
