    Default Dropped....

I have been using my powerball for about 3 days solid and today my friend came round "he has a powerball aswell", but it slipped and he dropped it on the floor. Now that I use it I can definetly feel something is wrong, it starts to "rattle" at around 4 thousand rpm. I can still reach the high scores but it is kind of holding me back....

    Hi Tom,

Can you please take your Powerball apart to see if you can identify if any of the internal parts are damaged. Please follow our FAQs to do this and in particular look out for the following common problems:

    - 'ruts' in the spheres
    - a worn support band
    - crack in the rotor itself

If you do identify any damaged parts, please email liz@powerballs.com with a link to this thread and also detail what is written on the grip-band of your Powerball to ensure that you get the correct part.

    With kind regards

    Enda

If you contact liz@powerballs.com to let her know that you will be sending it in Tom, and let her know which Powerball you are sending, we will expect it.

Please include your contact and return address details, with a copy of this thread in the package also.

We recommend that you use a recorded service to return the Powerball to us to ensure its safe arrival and also please ensure that the Powerball is suitably packaged.

    Regards

    Enda

What, the inner surface of one of the two casing halves? If it's tiny then it might not be a problem...much use will smooth it out.

(I have one I dropped twice (in quick succession!) and I smoothed one of the dents out by scraping it with a small, flat screwdriver. It's not perfect, but far better than it was. Just be gentle, but don't forget, you've got the offer to return it for a replacement.)
