High Score Mystery
I came back to my desk this avo planning on having another run and picked up my powerball to check the high score... 15,360... erm... when did that happen!
So either at some point this morning whilst messing I have set a new record and not realised it, or someone has borrowed it from my desk at lunchtime or the rev counter is faulty...
Ideas on a postcard!

Given the impressiveness of the score, Id kinda hope that somehow someone confused it, otherwise you have a world champ lurking in your office and you didnt know.. (give everyone the evil eye and find out?)

This problem is well-known by the Powerball team. But, I believe, there is nothing to doo.

Actually, in truth, we do receive inquiries like this from time to time and have established that in these cases ( 99.99% of the time) the counter is actually registering an incorrect score.
What happens, is that a momentary corruption in the counter basically doubles the achieved score and puts it up on the display - we have had entries like
24,776, 18906, 16307 both on our own Powerballs and on those of our customers and while there is an outside possibility that you have actually achieved this score, the chances are remote given the almost super human effort it would take to break the 16k barrier let alone almost hit the 18k mark!
Hope this helps!
