should the max revolutions been recorded even in real time mode?

Hi, if I run my powerball in real time mode I can get up to 8500 revolutions.

But when I go the the max revolutions screen afterwards it's on zero.

Is this correct?

That is correct. You should use the highest RPM mode if you want to record your high scores.
