Default Need help getting this thing not to click

Well, my 250mhz Pro finally came in, and I'm having a really hard time getting this thing to stay in rhythm and not start making this clicking noise. Whenever I start the PowerBall, I start in big, slow, and lazy circles to gradually bring the speed up. However, when it gets a bit faster, the thing starts to make this clicking noise and causes the PowerBall to move my wrist in a completely different direction (The powerball will face down and all of a sudden it will jerk to one side or something). Any ideas? I can barely get to 8000 before it starts doing this. With my left hand, I can barely get it to 3-4000 before it starts to click and doesn't want to keep rotating and gain speed.

Also, the booklet thing says that pressing the FCN button until the little arrow thing appears will display the highest RPM on the ball. It only shows 1692, but I know I've gotten at least 8000. When I tried the 30 second thing, it said I only got something like 3000, but I'm sure from the force/sound that I was back at around 8000. Any reason for this?

hello and welcome to the forum =D
for your first post... about the jerking thing.. its all about practice hte reason why it changes direction, its because you have to get used to the technique, you will master it , just give it some time..

and about the 30 secods function, its counts the number of rpms you did in 30 seconds, thats why it shows the 3000 rpm score.
and finally for the highscore thing, its the third option (starting for the 30sec function)
i think that you were in other function and thats the reason why the counter didnt save your highscore
Kind Regards and keep ot rolling! XD

I'm still confused. I know the high score option is the third one (The little arrow thing), but I just tried the 30 second thing again and scored higher than 1692, but it still says 1692.

EDIT: Oh, I think I get it now, I have to be ON the third option for it to save my highest score (An awful 9875, I know, but it's my first time and I'm not a macho man like you guys). It doesn't seem to save my 30 second runs.

That's right Azure - you need to be using the function for it to show your highest score.

For the Strength Index mode, your highest score is not saved - each time you enter the mode and select the 30, 60 or 90s setting you start from 0.

    Regards

    Enda
