Talking So thats what it should feel like!

I believe my rotor was cracked when I first got my PB and it just got worse over time. It has always vibrated a little, but got really bad later on. I put my new replacement rotor on yesterday (thanks to Enda, again!) and man what a difference. It is actually quiet now with no vibration, but here's the problem. I am having trouble with it building speed again. I have managed to finally get it up to 11330, but after many failed attempts. At one point I could't get over 2000, which is what the ripcord was getting it up to, not me.
It does seem to be getting better at building speed, should I take it apart and use Brasso to clean the support band tracks? Or just keep spinning it up and keeping it there till it breaks in again. When the rotor was cracked it would vibrate a lot and white dust would fall out of it as I was using it. I am wondering if some of this support band plastic has "vulcanized" or melted onto the tracks where the band rides.
I am now really impressed with the way it feels now with the new rotor, it is so smooth and quiet, I haven't experienced this yet on my Neon Blue Pro, although I have on my Metal.

you just keep it spinning... it gets slower for a while after changing the rotor... it has to get a little rough surface for the friction

Surely that would only apply if you changed the half shells NOT the rotor!

I got it going, all is well. It took a lot of failed attempts, it was hard to even keep it going. I finally got he thing spun up long enough to create some more friction, kept it there as long as I could. Man I can't get over how smooth it is now, and much quieter too. It is building speed properly now, it's just my arms are so tired from trying to get it going again I can't do but 11620. Have a good day!
