Wrist too unresponsive?
I find that when I reach about 9-10K its not that I couldn't keep going or anything, my grip is OK, I just can't move my wrist fast enough to increase the speed anymore. Any tips, or just to keep practicing. I've had it 4 days now btw, and loving every minute

you just keep practising and i can give you only one tip: try rotating your wrist in smaller circles and try not moving your elbow.

It's just about practice. I found that when I started, I made huge improvements after an endurance session. To start with I mostly did the 90-second endurance with one hand. At first I found it very hard to keep going at a decent speed for more than about 10 seconds, but in time I could go longer and longer until I could keep the Powerball at over 10k for the full 90 seconds.
My biggest improvement, from 12006 to 12802, I did after an hour-long endurance, where I kept the Powerball going at about 9500 rpm. I was knackered by the end, but my muscles in my whole arm felt really pumped. After a 5 or 10-minute rest I went for a speed record and added almost 800 to my best score.
The endurance helps train your wrists to move in little circles, as donkapone says...it's the secret to speed. However, it could be that too much endurance limits your top speed. I can just about always get over 17k in 90s, but I can only just get over 13k in speed these days.

I gave up on the 'trying to rotate the ball' 1k ago, I just rotate the hand on its axis. The elbow gives up a bit making the motion 'rotation' or so i think.
Few things I have noticed:
- In my (3 people) room at work, all have powerballs. 2/3 of the balls have a better rotation direction, my ball even has a very clear distinction.
- The ball should be deep in your palm, if you have big hands it will be harder but it still should be deep in there.
- Clean hands and clean ball gives a good grip. Even though you don't think it's about your grip, it still helps.
- Warm up, please warm up properly. I'm lazy at it and my elbow is killing me. Can't even pick up a coffee mug with straight hand atm. Started to warm up last week (after the injury) by doing a 60s strength run.
- Maintain high speed as long as possible, you might just find another gear and give you few hundred more rpm. This will also boost your technique.
